What Makes This Therapy Different?

Talk therapy changed many lives — but for a lot of people, there comes a point where understanding your trauma isn’t enough. You know why you feel the way you do, but the anxiety still lives in your chest. The anger still sits in your jaw. The sadness still weighs in your body.

That’s because trauma isn’t just stored in the mind — it’s stored in the nervous system and the tissues of the body.

This work meets you where talk therapy often cannot reach.

Key Differences

We work with the body, not just the story

Traditional therapy is mostly “top-down” — it starts in the mind and hopes the body follows. Our approach is “bottom-up.” We use breathwork, somatic movement, and myofascial release to speak directly to your nervous system and help it discharge what it’s been holding onto, sometimes for decades.

Multiple healing modalities work together in one day

Instead of seeing a therapist one week, doing breathwork another, and trying medicine work somewhere else, everything is woven together in one carefully held container. The practices support and amplify each other.

Sacred medicines are used with intention

When held with intention and respect, medicines like psilocybin or MDMA can create a window of neuroplasticity — a period where your brain and nervous system become highly receptive to healing. This can accelerate emotional breakthroughs that might otherwise take years.

You are held in true intimacy

Most workshops are large and impersonal. Our circles are intentionally small — usually just 3 to 5 people. This creates a level of safety, depth, and personal attention that’s nearly impossible to find in bigger settings

This isn’t about bypassing the mind

It’s about finally giving your body a voice — and letting it heal what the mind alone could not.
